Ryson High Capacity Spiral ConveyorHigh Capacity Spiral Application.

One of our new High Capacity class of Spiral Conveyors is being utilized as an “early-out” incline conveyor at a wine and liquor distribution center. The spiral is installed next to a three-level pick module and is used to efficiently transport finished case picks from the express first level out to the sortation system,

The spiral, besides saving space and reducing the turnkey implementation costs of the more common series of incline conveyors and curves, adds to the overall picking efficiencies by routing the completed orders from the express pick zone directly to the shipping area, rather than transporting those cases through the other two levels of the pick module.

The Ryson High Capacity Spiral Conveyors are in response to our customers need to go higher and handle more weight.

The Ryson High Capacity Spiral Conveyors can handle twice the capacity of our standard spirals and are assembled and shipped in one piece which reduce the time and cost of installation.

The load capacity is 75 lbs. per linear foot of conveyor with speeds up to 200 FPM. The total weight capacity in the vertical lift at any one time is 3,600 lbs. The Ryson High Capacity Spiral is the only vertical lift that can start and stop fully loaded with this much weight. Yet, only one drive motor is required, resulting in substantial savings in energy, controls and system integration.

South America is an important growth market for Ryson International, Inc. The recent EXPO PACK exhibition in Mexico City gave us an opportunity to show our commitment to this market.

EXPO PACK was very well attended by customers from all parts of Cental and South America and Ryson was showcasing its new line of high capacity mass flow spiral conveyors. The Mass Flow Spirals are based on the already proven and reliable Ryson Spiral technology.

Ryson is making good progress in expanding its sales and service network in South America and we are looking forward to solid growth as we move forward. Most of our literature and maintenance instructions have been published in Spanish and are now available on www.ryson.com.

Most Ryson Spirals are shipped in one piece, pre-assembled and pre-tested, drastically reducing time and cost of installation. The pre-wiring options can further reduce the time and cost of implementation and many of our customers are taking advantage of these cost-saving features

The stand-alone controls option is an attractive alternative when a spiral is replacing an existing vertical lift or when a spiral conveyor is connecting two floors or a mezzanine level.
