In response to increased filling and packaging speeds in the food and beverage industry, we have introduced two new mass flow models. Added to our existing 12" wide model are the 400 and 500 models (16" and 20" wide slat surface).
The Mass Flow spirals are designed to transport full and empty jars, cans, bottles or other containers in mass. These machines are equipped with extended in feed and out feed conveyors to facilitate the side transfer of product on and off the spirals. The new higher capacity design allows flow rates up to 2,000 containers per minute.
As with our entire product offering, these spirals are available in powder coated steel, stainless steel and wash-down versions.

New Multiple Entry High Capacity Spiral in operation.
Ryson introduced its new High Capacity Spirals in January this year and 15 spirals are already in operation. The tallest spiral is 31 feet high and some spirals include the multiple entry option.
The high capacity spirals handle double the capacity of our regular spirals and ship in one piece which will drastically reduce the time and cost of installation. Ryson Spiral Conveyors need less floor space than conventional conveyors and are faster and more reliable than any elevator or lift.
The load capacity is 75 lbs. per linear foot of conveyor for speeds up to 200 FPM. The total weight capacity in the spiral at any one time is 3500 lbs. Only one drive motor is required, resulting in substantial savings in energy, controls, and system integration.
The Multiple Entry Spirals allow loads to enter the spirals from several different elevations. A new high speed induction conveyor provides controlled spiral entry. The conveyor belts are individually adjustable to match the spiral pitch. Traffic controls are required to prevent loads entering from different levels colliding in the spiral.

Ryson adds two more slat width models to our Dual Spiral line-up.
In addition to our current models with dual 12” and dual 16” wide slats, we recently added models with dual 8” and dual 20” wide slats .

Two tracks operate within one Spiral structure. Both tracks can go up or down, and can optionally be reversible.

Ryson Spiral Conveyors need less floor space than conventional conveyors and are faster and more reliable than any elevator or lift.

Ryson now offers 3D AutoCAD drawings
Ryson can now provide 3D AutoCAD drawings in addition to the CAD blocks normally provided with our proposals upon request. These 3D drawings accurately depict the quoted spirals and can easily be inserted into an overall 3D system drawing or presentation. The 3D drawings can be manipulated within AutoCAD, including color selection and the degree of details needed. See samples below. Fill out our RFQ form to request the drawing to your specs. Be sure to request the drawing in the special requests box.

Ryson introduced its new High Capacity Spirals during ProMat 2009 in January and the first two units are now in operation. Twelve more High Capacity Spirals are currently in production, and will be delivered in late spring and early summer.
The new Ryson High Capacity Spirals are designed in response to our customers' need to go higher and handle more weight.
These spirals handle double the capacity of our regular spirals and ship in one piece which will drastically reduce the time and cost of installation.

The first two units operate in a distribution center for computer products and consumer electronics located in the South East. The tallest spiral is 31 feet high and the other 24 feet.
